Behind every trade lies a complex web of technical systems, infrastructure, and thoughtful design that enables our traders and developers to operate at the highest level. In this talk, we’ll dive into the technical work that powers our trading operations, exploring the diverse roles CS graduates play and the challenges they tackle daily.
Speakers Profile 🎙️
Shenghan is a trader at Jane Street’s Hong Kong office, where he specializes in developing quantitative models and trading algorithms. Before Hong Kong, he studied Mathematics and worked at Jane Street London. Outside of work, Shenghan likes to solve puzzles and compose music.
Shi-Jie Khor is currently a software engineer at Jane Street Singapore, focusing on developing tools to study trading strategies in the firm. He graduated as valedictorian with a double degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from NUS in 2017. Outside of work, you will often find Shi-Jie playing board games, table tennis, or trying to solve puzzles at puzzle hunts.
