Rules: (sorry, we have to have them)
1. Teams can have 1-4 members. You may sign up as an individual, though we recommend coming as a team. If you need to look for more team mates, you can ask on our mailing list (Find out how here: http://nushackers.org/discussion).
2. Your registration is confirmed when:
- your team members have all registered under the same team name
- your team is entered in the Google form as confirmed (we’ll check with you if you’re not)
- your team has made the S$10 payment *per person* (to contribute for food)
Do note other teams can take up slots if your team is not yet confirmed!
For individual(s) or team(s) still looking for teammates. Once you have your confirmed team members and we’ll make the status change to “Confirmed Team” for you. No need to re-fill in the forms again.
3. We will be collecting the S$10 payment during Friday Hacks (held every Friday at UTown ERC Level 2, SR 2, full info at http://nushackers.org/fridayhacks). Special arrangements may be made to pay at SoC basement – just email us at hacknroll@nushackers.org, or call Shawn (93877026), or Cedric (91148111) to arrange a meetup there.
5. All teams need to stay for the duration of the event at the 24 hour Hackathon venue. Teams that leave will be disqualified. Sleeping bags are recommended. A steady supply of coffee, Red Bull, meals and snacks will be provided.
6. The hack/app/program presented by your team should not be build upon any existing hacks/apps/programs that you or your team may have prepared before the hackathon. Reusing code is okay. Recycling an existing program is not. With that said, building upon free open-sourced code is encouraged.
7. The judges’ decision is final.
8. Additional details, including judging criteria, themes and challenges will be conveyed at the start of the event by the organizers.
9. For any queries, please feel free to approach any of the organizers at hacknroll@nushackers.org. You can also drop by our google group and ask questions (https://groups.google.com/forum/?#!forum/nushackers).
